Sometimes, we have a village, but not the support we would like... Other times, we don't have anyone in our corner...

Whatever your situation, my in person support is designed around what you need.

If you're based within an hour of Colchester (Essex or Suffolk,) I'd be honoured to talk through your postnatal care and support.

Your Postnatal Support may include:

  • Postnatal Planning during pregnancy

  • Emotional Support and Holding

  • Practical Support - Light housework, meal prep or baby care so you can rest

  • Feeding Guidance and Support - from a Breastfeeding Counsellor

  • Advocacy for the tough conversations, or if you're struggling to find the words or to feel listened to

  • Support with adjusting to life with a newborn, or helping your family adjust

  • Physical Recovery: Integrating realistic rest and recovery

  • Baby Care support and guidance

  • Finding your confidence in parenthood

Plus whatever else is on your heart and mind during this season of motherhood.

Your Investment

When you think about your postpartum budget, think about what your baby really needs. We all think about the latest gadget, or most expensive travel system being the "best" - but what does your baby really need? A calm, supported Mama and family unite to help regulate those early days and weeks as they adjust to life outside of the womb.

KIND WORDS FROM LOVELY MAMAS...

Harriet

1st time Mum

I had support from Jade after having my second baby. We started with a video call, which felt really easy and personal. It was so lovely to meet her. She shared lots of helpful tips to prepare before my baby arrived and supported me with the juggle of having two, which was my biggest worry. She also helped me put some gentle boundaries in place, which made a huge difference. I felt calmer, more prepared, and supported throughout. Once my daughter arrived, Jade was always there at the end of the phone whenever I had questions or needed support. She shared really helpful advice and even gave me simple scripts to use when I was struggling to find the words. She was so supportive and reassuring, and I never felt alone. If you’re thinking about having a postnatal doula, I couldn’t recommend Jade enough. X

Ella

2nd time Mum

I have had multiple sessions with Jade both pre and post both of my babies and can honestly say her help has been invaluable. From supporting me through pregnancy after loss, navigating the physical, emotional and practical sides of preparing for birth as well as the love, guidance, emotional and practical support post birth had a major impact on my experiences. I would have been lost without her. Jade is incredibly knowledgeable and has her own lived experiences, she is calm and caring and made me feel safe and comfortable to share any thoughts and feelings. If anyone is debating I would highly recommend, the extra support & guidance is invaluable to your pre and postpartum experience.

Womb to world,

Heart to home.

For the woman becoming Mama,

and the family becoming whole.
